I was eager to find out what the top super foods were and also wanted to see how many of it we were consuming on a regular basis. Surprise! 🙂 We are including all of it in our diet regularly. Personally I’m trying to cut back on grains even if it is a whole grain. But my husband and kids love their oatmeal. We don’t do the North American style sweetened oatmeal though. It’s the Indian style, cooked oatmeal, with little salt, asafoetida powder (hing), cumin (powder or whole) and plain yogurt.
My favorite is spinach. I think I eat the most spinach next to Popeye. I have it twice a day, in my breakfast green smoothie and lunch salad at least 5 days a week. Which is your favorite super food from the list?
