3. Don’t Eat Carbs

don't eat carbs

A common diet requirement is to cut out carbs, or at least drastically reduce them. However, per gram carbs have less calories than many other foods, and are therefore a healthier choice than many other sources of energy. Carbs are also the main supplier of energy to the body. They are especially important to the brain, which needs the blood glucose that carbs provide. Although it can be provided by eating other types of food, but carbs are among the best sources for blood glucose.

Most importantly, reducing or eliminating the intake of carbs does not lead to permanent weight loss. Instead of cutting them out entirely, switch from simple or refined carbs found in white bread, pasta and rice, and go for the complex carbs that come from brown rice, whole grain breads, and whole fruits.
