9 Best Carbs for Weight Loss

The two most wrongful suggestions given to anybody who wants to lose weight is to a) avoid carbs and b) go fat-free. Both these tips may seem to be working initially but never in the long run. You will definitely gain back what you lost because after keeping up with it for a while you would feel deprived and fall into the vicious circle of bingeing.

It’s never a good idea to eliminate a particular food or group of foods unless you are allergic to something or have food sensitivities. Just choose the right carbs (like whole grains, legumes, fresh vegetables), pair it with a good source of fat like olive oil, avocados or nuts and know when to eat it (post work out is the best time to have carbs). Needless to say, portion control is an important criteria too.
